SEO as a college course might be a new trend
Many small businesses don't take advantage of online marketing tools like search engine optimization (SEO) but a group in Wisconsin is hoping to get more SMBs on board by teaching them about the technique.

The Small Business Development Center at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is offering a program at the end of this month that is aimed at teaching SMBs how search engine optimization (SEO) can improve their bottom line.

The course, which is titled "Efficient and Effective Search Engine Optimization for Business Owners," will run on September 29 from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will teach small business owners the importance of keywords and content in improving their ranking in search engine results pages.

Courses teaching the importance of search engine optimization (SEO) seem to be something that's appearing on more college curricula.

The University of California, San Diego has been offering a course on search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO) which gives students 2.5 credits. It appears to be the only school in the nation which offers a course on SEO for credit. The college calls search engine optimization (SEO) "most successful and cost effective way to promote a website properly and receive maximum ROI." ADNFCR-1513-ID-19352897-ADNFCR

Em breve teremos cursos univesitários de SEO...
